How to Counter Every Entity

You cannot kill entities. Each one has a tell, a floor, and a counter: ribs, sleep, vents, gates, or a horn.

Entities cannot be damaged. The counters are movement, line of sight, vents, and gates. Gates on the elevator hub close North, South, East, and West. Entities do not open a closed gate.

Headphones matter. Blob groans, Weatherman clanks and beeps, Cave-Crawler skitters, Giant Kiwi chirps across the map, and Bone Hound sniffs and barks within about 20 to 30 studs.

Early floors, before duplicates

Floors 1 through 8 follow a danger-level table. Level 1 is Blob, level 2 is Stinger, level 3 is Weatherman, and level 4 is Cave-Crawler, Giant Kiwi, or Bone Hound.

Floor L1 L2 L3 L4 Total
1 1 0 0 0 1
2 0 1 0 0 1
3 1 1 0 0 2
4 1 0 1 0 2
5 1 1 1 0 3
6 1 1 0 1 3
7 1 0 1 1 3
8 0-1 0-1 1 1 3

From Floor 11, the same creature can appear more than once. Giant Kiwi and Bone Hound are excluded from that duplicate rule. Older notes excluded Thorns instead, from when Thorns was still tracked as an entity.

Counters

Blob (Danger 1, Floor 1). Slow, loud, and painful to touch. Jump on the exposed ribs to cross. That contact also counts for Gross Remains. Research text calls it a failed fusion of three subjects.

Stinger (Danger 2, Floor 2 on the spawn table). It hangs on the ceiling. Walking under it while it is awake deals damage and about two seconds of slowness, then it sleeps. Hug the wall or wait for the sleep. Look Up is the encounter badge.

Weatherman (Danger 3, Floor 4 on the table). Three states:

  1. Roaming: it walks the center of the hall. You can pass if you do not touch the chassis. Solo notes also say hugging the wall lets it pass.
  2. Scanning: it stops, beeps, and shows an eye. Leave its line of sight.
  3. Chase: the screen fills with eyes and it matches sprint speed. It gives up after about four seconds without sight. It cannot enter vents. Shut a mansion door or wing gate. Never kite it into the elevator. Caught in 4k is the encounter badge. Shocking Development is a separate badge for an energized Weatherman. A damage number for a normal Weatherman was not confirmed in the current writeups.

Cave-Crawler (Danger 4, Floor 6). It stares for about three seconds, then chases, and it gets faster the longer the chase lasts. Break sight around corners, hide in thorn bushes, or honk a Go-Kart horn. A metal gate or mansion door shut in its face leaves it idle with its head down. Open Wide is the badge. A precise bite number was not restated in the current entity overview, so it is left off this page.

Giant Kiwi (Danger 4, Floors 6 to 8). Calm until you take an egg. Then it is slightly faster than sprint and the hammer notes put a peck at 30 HP. Lure it, swap an ore into the nest (about 6 seconds) to calm it, or move the nest with a hammer. See the egg guide. Nests are documented with three eggs. One overview also says three to four. Do not treat four as guaranteed.

Bone Hound (Danger 4, Floors 6 to 9). A screen warning says a dangerous entity was detected. It deals 50 HP per hit and chases faster than an unassisted sprint. Beginner health is 100 HP, so two hits are fatal. It sleeps for about 20 seconds and can be walked on while asleep. Full timing is on the Bone Hound page.

Calm entities follow hallway center nodes. In a chase they cut toward your last seen spot and often snag on doorframes. Glass Gate, a vote upgrade, lets you look through a shut door before you open it.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What are you actually trying to do in Fatal Floors?

Ride the elevator, loot the four wings for ore, and fill the Coin Meter at the Sell Bin before the elevator leaves. Floor 1 is always the Facility, with five Iron Ore, only the Blob, and an 8-credit quota.

Can you kill the monsters?

No. Entities are not damaged by tools. You evade them, break line of sight, hide in vents, or shut a wing gate. A Go-Kart horn can scare a Cave-Crawler, and a gate slammed in its face leaves it idle.

Which class should a new player unlock first?

Chef or Hoarder. Chef starts with a campfire, ham, and carrot. Hoarder starts with extra bag space, bonus money, and a Gold Ore. Beginner has 100 HP and no items.

Are there working codes?

No working or expired code strings were found, and no in-game code box has been documented. Reward text from other Roblox games is not a Fatal Floors code.

How do you revive a teammate?

A living player uses a Reviver syringe on the fallen player's head. The syringe is consumed and the player returns at full health. It cannot revive you in a solo run. A dead player can also pay 45 Robux within 30 seconds.
