The hammer selects a tile at any visible range. Move Tile only places inside the elevator. Delete Tile removes most tiles but not the Map Table or the Ore Seller. Deleting a pot or a Kiwi nest spills the contents. Deleting a planter destroys a growing carrot. A hazards note that prices the hammer at 15 coins matches the sell value, not the buy price.
