Cross a Bone Hound without Feeding It

Bone Hound is the run-ender. It starts on Floor 6 and is reported through Floor 9. The screen warns that a dangerous entity was detected, with a siren. It does not get duplicated on Floor 11 the way ordinary entities do.

Stat Documented value
Hit 50 HP
Wander speed About 20 studs per second
Chase speed About 30 studs per second
Pause after a hit About 1 second
Sleep About 20 seconds
Calm patrol before a rest About 90 seconds
Hearing Sniff and bark inside roughly 20 to 30 studs

Beginner has 100 HP, so two hits are a kill. Higher-health classes may live a third hit. The one-second pause is not enough to win a straight hallway.

Three states

Wander. It follows nodes, snorts, and steps heavily. While calm it can walk through thorns and still miss a player hiding in the bushes.

Chase. Line of sight makes it roar and sprint faster than you. Corners, vents, pipes, bookshelves, and closed doors drop the chase after several seconds without sight. Mansion interior doors are too small for it.

Sleep. Snoring, about 20 seconds, no contact damage. You can walk on it, jump on it, and loot. It wakes on the timer, not because you touched it, then ignores players for a short moment before it patrols again. Petting it during the nap is the badge He Doesn't Bite. The description itself says that might be a bad idea. Encountering it at all is Prey.

What to do when the siren starts

  1. Shut the wing gates you are not using.
  2. Loot only while you hear snoring. Leave before the 20 seconds end.
  3. If it sees you, break sight. Do not race it down a corridor.
  4. In a team, one runner can pull it into an already looted wing and shut the gate. That is the wasteland trap.
  5. Do not let it into the elevator. It does not despawn mid-floor, and a hound in the cabin deletes anyone who comes home.
  6. Keep a carrot or cooked food on you. A 50 HP hit leaves Beginner at half or less, and the next hit finishes them.

Research text describes it as a mine predator that hunts for sport, naps after a kill, and overran an extermination attempt during the evacuation.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What are you actually trying to do in Fatal Floors?

Ride the elevator, loot the four wings for ore, and fill the Coin Meter at the Sell Bin before the elevator leaves. Floor 1 is always the Facility, with five Iron Ore, only the Blob, and an 8-credit quota.

Can you kill the monsters?

No. Entities are not damaged by tools. You evade them, break line of sight, hide in vents, or shut a wing gate. A Go-Kart horn can scare a Cave-Crawler, and a gate slammed in its face leaves it idle.

Which class should a new player unlock first?

Chef or Hoarder. Chef starts with a campfire, ham, and carrot. Hoarder starts with extra bag space, bonus money, and a Gold Ore. Beginner has 100 HP and no items.

Are there working codes?

No working or expired code strings were found, and no in-game code box has been documented. Reward text from other Roblox games is not a Fatal Floors code.

How do you revive a teammate?

A living player uses a Reviver syringe on the fallen player's head. The syringe is consumed and the player returns at full health. It cannot revive you in a solo run. A dead player can also pay 45 Robux within 30 seconds.
